Location

Overview

Shinsaibashi-suji is a covered shopping arcade about 580–600 meters long in the heart of Osaka's Minami district, lined with roughly 180 shops selling fashion, cosmetics, sundries, souvenirs, and food. With roots in the Edo period, it is one of Osaka's most famous shopping streets, drawing around 60,000 visitors on weekdays and up to about 120,000 on Sundays and holidays. Because it is fully roofed, you can stroll and shop comfortably even in rain or bad weather.
