Location

Overview

Myeongdong is Seoul's best-known shopping and street-food district in Jung-gu, packed with cosmetics and fashion stores, department stores, and food carts. Most first-time visitors spend at least an afternoon here: daytime is for shopping, while from dusk the pedestrian lanes turn into a bright street-food scene, with Myeongdong Cathedral and the road toward Namsan and N Seoul Tower nearby for easy walking.
