Yongdusan Park is a hilltop city park above the Nampo-dong and Gwangbok-dong shopping streets in Busan's Jung-gu, and one of the old downtown's signature landmarks. At its summit stands the 120m Busan Tower (Busan Diamond Tower), offering sweeping views over Busan Port and Yeongdo Island. With the Statue of Admiral Yi Sun-sin, a flower clock, and the Citizens' Bell gathered on one plaza, it's a favorite spot for strolls and night views.

SafetyThe escalators up from Nampo-dong/Gwangbok-dong only go up β there is no down escalator. You'll descend by stairs or a walking slope, so take care if you have weak knees.
MannersSuitcases and strollers are awkward here because the escalator is up-only and you rely on stairs and slopes. Leave large luggage at your hotel or in a locker.
SeasonThe summit is windy and feels cold on winter evenings; dress warmly if you're staying for the night view. In summer there's little shade, so prepare for sun and heat.
