Overview

Taipei 101 is a 508 m, 101-story skyscraper in Taipei's Xinyi District that was the world's tallest building when it opened in 2004. Its 89th-floor indoor deck, 91st-floor open-air terrace, and the 460 m open-air 'Skyline 460' platform offer 360-degree views of the city and surrounding mountains. The lower floors form a landmark complex with a luxury mall and restaurants including Din Tai Fung.

Practical info

Take the MRT Tamsui-Xinyi (Red) Line to Taipei 101/World Trade Center Station, Exit 4, about a 1-minute walk. Standard observatory ticket is around NT$600 (floors 88/89/91); the Skyline 460 combo is about NT$980. Full-price tickets are easy to book online; concession tickets (senior/child) are sold at the on-site counter. Hours are roughly Sun-Thu 11:00-21:30 and Fri/Sat/pre-holiday 11:00-22:00, and from July 1, 2026 the ticket counter and entrance are temporarily moved to the 1st floor of the office tower. Reconfirm prices, hours, and rules on the official site just before your visit.
