🇹🇼 Elephant Mountain (Xiangshan)

象山 · 타이베이

Location

Overview

Elephant Mountain (Xiangshan, 象山) is a modest 183 m hill in the southeast of Taipei's Xinyi District, home to the city's most iconic viewpoint where boulders on the ridge frame Taipei 101 and the skyline head-on. The trailhead is a 10-minute walk from Xiangshan MRT station, and the mostly-stairs climb to the main platforms takes only 15-25 minutes, making it popular with beginners and families. Entry is free, and it gets busiest around sunset and for night views.
