RulesPopular lands like Super Nintendo World and Harry Potter often require a free Area Timed Entry Ticket on busy days. It can only be obtained after you enter the park, via the official app or in-park ticket machines, and only once per day, so secure a slot right after entry. Confirm the current system on site or officially.
CautionBuy tickets only from official (USJ Web Ticket Store) or authorized sellers. Resold tickets from auction or resale sites can have their QR codes invalidated, leading to denied entry, and USJ offers no refund or compensation for them.
SeasonOsaka summers from July to September are hot and humid with real risk of heat illness. Bring water, a hat, sunshade, and sunscreen, use indoor attractions to escape the heat, and hydrate well. Summer can also bring sudden showers or typhoons, so a light rain layer is wise.
SafetyRight after opening, gates and popular rides get very crowded, and crushing or jostling can occur. Agree on a meeting point with your group in advance, and keep a firm hold on children.
MannersDo not cut in ride queues, respect no-photography zones inside attractions, and follow announcements and staff instructions. Reserving front-row spots or using tripods at shows and parades may not be permitted.

Operating hours vary widely by season and day of week (generally opening at 9am). Check ticket types (1-Day Studio Pass, Express Pass, etc.), prices, and timed-entry operation on the official site before your visit. Take the JR Yumesaki (Sakurajima) Line to Universal-city Station, a few minutes' walk away. Arriving early for opening is the key to shorter waits.
