🇯🇵 Tokyo City View (Roppongi Hills Mori Tower Observation Deck)
六本木ヒルズ森タワー 東京シティビュー · 도쿄 미나토구
Location
Overview
Tokyo City View is an enclosed indoor observation deck on the 52nd floor of Roppongi Hills Mori Tower, roughly 250 m above sea level, offering a full glass-walled panorama of central Tokyo. Tokyo Tower and Rainbow Bridge sit in the foreground, and on clear days you can even glimpse Mount Fuji, making it one of the city's signature viewpoints. Because the Mori Art Museum occupies the floor above (53F), many visitors pair the skyline with an art exhibition.
Climate-controlled glass gallery lets you enjoy Tokyo's panorama comfortably in any weather or season
Direct views of Tokyo Tower, Rainbow Bridge and Tokyo Bay, with Mount Fuji visible on clear days
The sunset-to-night cityscape is especially popular, so an evening visit is recommended
Combined viewing with the Mori Art Museum one floor up on 53F (combo tickets sold per exhibition)
Buy tickets at the 3rd-floor counter, then ride a dedicated express elevator straight to the 52nd floor
Good to know
RulesThe open-air rooftop Sky Deck (238 m) has been closed to the general public since April 2024 and is currently not accessible. Re-check availability before your visit.
RulesTripods and monopods are prohibited inside the deck. Selfie sticks may also be restricted during crowded periods or special events.
MannersMany visitors press lenses or foreheads against the glass; when shooting the night view, don't monopolize a spot for long and take turns with others.
SeasonClear, dry winter days give the best chance of seeing Mount Fuji, while humid summer days or overcast weather can leave the distant view hazy.
RulesPrices, hours, closed days and combo-ticket contents change frequently, and the deck may close temporarily during exhibition installation. Always confirm the latest details on the official site before visiting.
CautionBuy tickets only at the official 3rd-floor counter or on official/authorized booking platforms. Beware of unofficial resellers near the entrance charging a markup.
