Time Out Market Lisboa is a large food hall in the Cais do Sodré riverfront district of Lisbon, Portugal, opened in 2014 when Time Out magazine curated the western half of the historic Mercado da Ribeira (a market hall dating from 1892). More than two dozen stalls and around eight bars — from Michelin-trained chefs to traditional Portuguese producers — sit under one roof, with communal tables in the center where you build your own meal. The eastern half of the same building still runs as a working produce market where locals buy fish, vegetables and flowers.
