Osaka Aquarium Kaiyukan, in the Tempozan Harbor Village on Osaka Bay, is one of the world's largest aquariums, home to around 30,000 creatures across roughly 620 species. Its signature layout starts on the 8th floor and spirals downward around a huge central 'Pacific Ocean' tank, whose resident whale sharks are the undisputed star.
