Overview
Goto Mall is the largest underground shopping arcade in Seoul, running beneath the Express Bus Terminal Station in Seocho-gu with roughly 600-620 stalls spread along two corridors that total about 880 meters. It packs affordable clothing, shoes, accessories, cosmetics and home decor together with a large flower market at the eastern end, making it a bargain-hunting favorite for both locals and foreign visitors. Formerly known as the Banpo Underground Arcade, it is now one of the city's best-known value-shopping spots.

MannersMost stalls have no fitting rooms. You can sometimes try outerwear over your clothes, but white shirts and tees are often off-limits due to makeup stains, so knowing your measurements in advance helps.
RulesAs a budget arcade, many shops do not accept returns or exchanges. Check size, color and stitching carefully before you pay.
MannersBargaining etiquette matters: don't try to halve the price of one cheap tee. It's acceptable to politely ask for a small discount ('kkakka-juseyo') only when buying two or more items from the same stall.
CautionMany vendors prefer cash and may give a 5-10% discount for it. Foreign-issued cards are sometimes declined, so carry some cash in small bills.
SafetyThe long, maze-like corridors make it easy to get lost. Every shop has a section letter and number (e.g. A-12); photograph it so you can find a stall again.
