🇪🇸 Alcázar of Segovia (Alcázar de Segovia)

Alcázar de Segovia · 세고비아

Location

Overview

The Alcázar of Segovia rises like the prow of a ship on a rocky spur where two rivers meet, at the far end of Segovia's old town in Castilla y León, Spain. A medieval royal palace and fortress where Queen Isabella I was crowned in 1474, its fairytale silhouette is often cited as an inspiration for Disney's Snow White castle and Cinderella Castle. Highlights include ornate interiors such as the Hall of Kings and the throne room, plus sweeping views of the old town and sierra from the Tower of Juan II.
