🇰🇷 63 Square (63 Building)

63스퀘어 (63 Square) · 서울 영등포구

Location

Overview

63 Square (the 63 Building) is a 249.6-meter gold-clad skyscraper on Yeouido island overlooking the Han River, one of Seoul's most iconic landmarks since it opened in 1985. After the former Aqua Planet 63 aquarium and '63 Art' observatory closed in June 2024, the tower underwent a major cultural makeover. In June 2026 it reopened with Centre Pompidou Hanwha (the Asian branch of France's Centre Pompidou) and a new rooftop observatory called '63 SkyPicnic', reborn as a mixed cultural complex of art museum, river-view deck, and fine dining.
