🇺🇸 Wynwood Walls

Wynwood Walls · 마이애미

Location

Overview

Wynwood Walls is an open-air street-art museum that developer Tony Goldman launched in 2009, inviting world-renowned muralists to transform Miami's derelict warehouse district into a global canvas. Timed to Art Basel Miami, it grew into one of America's most celebrated urban-renewal stories, with more than 50 artists from 16 countries covering over 80,000 square feet of walls. As of 2026 it operates as a gated, ticketed museum featuring 40-plus murals, large-scale sculptures and on-site galleries, while the surrounding Wynwood Arts District streets are packed with free, ever-changing murals. Pair a walk through the colorful alleys with the neighborhood's cafes and breweries for an easy half-day outing.

Practical info

The Welcome Center is at 2516 NW 2nd Ave, Miami, FL 33127; there is no Metrorail station right at the walls, so rideshare, the free Miami Trolley Wynwood route, or a pre-booked garage (e.g., SpotHero) are the easiest options. It is open daily, generally 10:30am-6:30pm, but confirm current prices, hours and any closures on the official website.
