🇳🇱 Dom Tower (Domtoren)

Domtoren · 위트레흐트

Location

Overview

The Dom Tower (Domtoren) is a roughly 112 m Gothic bell tower rising from the heart of Utrecht and is the tallest church tower in the Netherlands. Built between 1321 and 1382, it stands on the very spot where the city of Utrecht first took shape and remains its defining landmark. A major restoration that began in 2019 was completed in November 2024, so as of 2026 the freshly restored Gothic stonework can once again be admired in full. The signature way to experience it is a timed, guide-led tour that climbs 465 steps through medieval chambers to sweeping city views.
