豊洲市場 · 도쿄도 고토구

Location

Overview

Toyosu Market, opened in 2018 as the successor to the old Tsukiji market, is Tokyo's massive wholesale seafood and produce market in Koto Ward and home to one of the world's largest tuna auctions. Three main buildings - the Fisheries Wholesale, Fisheries Intermediate Wholesale, and Fruit & Vegetable buildings - are linked by raised pedestrian walkways, and visitors come for the pre-dawn tuna auction and the fresh sushi and seafood-bowl restaurants. In February 2024 the adjacent Toyosu Senkyaku Banrai dining and hot-spring complex also opened.
