RulesYou must be 21 or older to enter or gamble on the casino floor, and ID checks are strictly enforced. Under-21s are barred from the gaming floor entirely and may be fined if caught.
RulesPhotography and video are strictly forbidden around gaming tables and slot machines. Even a selfie is a problem if a table appears in the background — security will make you delete it and may escort you out.
CautionBeware unlicensed taxis and touts who approach near the border gates and ferry terminals. Some refuse the meter and demand several times the normal fare; insist the meter is running before you get in, and walk away to another cab if the driver refuses.
RulesBoth Macau Pataca (MOP) and Hong Kong Dollars (HKD) are accepted at a flat 1:1 rate, but if you pay in HKD you'll usually get change in MOP. Expect a small loss on exchange and favor local currency where you can.
MannersSmart-casual dress is expected on the gaming floor; flip-flops, shorts, and sleeveless tops are barred at high-end tables. Wearing hats or sunglasses indoors may also be restricted.
SeasonMay–November (peak July–September) is typhoon season — hot, humid, and prone to heavy rain. If Signal No. 8 or above is hoisted, ferries and flights can be suspended and shops may close, so check the weather and shuttle status before you travel.

Free shuttle buses from the airport, ferries, and border gates are the easiest way in. Both MOP and HKD are accepted. Verify gondola fares/hours and store and show schedules on the official website before visiting. The mostly indoor layout means you can sightsee even in rain or heat.
