Termas Geométricas, inside Villarrica National Park near Pucón in southern Chile, is a hot springs complex with a distinctive design — 17 slate-toned concrete pools linked by red-painted wooden walkways that wind through a rainforest ravine. It was designed by architect Germán del Sol, whose approach minimizes built structure alongside the natural gorge and waterfalls. The water is drawn from a nearby volcanic geothermal source, with each pool set to a slightly different temperature. The site sits close to Villarrica, an active volcano.
