🇹🇼 Tamsui Fisherman's Wharf

淡水漁人碼頭 · 신베이

Location

Overview

Tamsui Fisherman's Wharf (淡水漁人碼頭) is a working fishing harbor and one of Taiwan's most beloved sunset spots, sitting at the western tip of Tamsui District in New Taipei City on the right bank of the Tamsui River estuary. Formerly the Tamsui Second Fishing Port, it has been reborn as a seaside leisure destination anchored by the sail-shaped Lover's Bridge, the rotating Lover's Tower, and a long wooden boardwalk. The view of the sun sinking over the river mouth toward the Taiwan Strait is counted among the classic sights of Tamsui.
