A pure white marble mausoleum completed in the 17th century by Mughal emperor Shah Jahan for his wife Mumtaz Mahal — a UNESCO World Heritage Site, symbol of India and one of the New Seven Wonders. Its perfect symmetry and gemstone inlay are stunning.

RulesClosed on Fridays for prayers; large bags, tripods and food are banned and security is strict.
