🇭🇰 Stanley Market

赤柱 (Stanley) · 홍콩섬 (Southern)

Location

Overview

Stanley Market (Chi Chu / 赤柱) is an open-air covered lane market in the seaside village of Stanley on the south of Hong Kong Island, where shops sell silk clothing, souvenirs, paintings and Chinese bric-a-brac along narrow roofed alleys. It has a more relaxed, resort-like feel than the city's night markets, and sits beside a waterfront promenade, the restored colonial Murray House and Stanley Beach, making it a popular half-day outing. It is about a 40-50 minute bus ride from Central, with the scenic coastal journey itself part of the appeal.
