🇭🇰 Senado Square (Largo do Senado)

議事亭前地 (Largo do Senado) · 마카오 반도 (Macau)

Location

Overview

Senado Square (Largo do Senado) is a triangular, pedestrian paved plaza at the heart of the Macau Peninsula and the centerpiece of the Historic Centre of Macau, a UNESCO World Heritage Site inscribed in 2005. Its black-and-white wave-pattern mosaic paving, laid by Portuguese craftsmen, and pastel colonial buildings give it a distinctly European feel, making it the natural starting point for exploring nearby landmarks such as the Ruins of St. Paul's.
