The SCMAGLEV and Railway Park is JR Central's railway museum in Kinjofuto, Nagoya, displaying about 39 real train cars spanning steam locomotives, Shinkansen, and superconducting maglev. The centerpiece is a symbolic hall where the maglev MLX01-1 - which set a manned rail speed record of 581 km/h in 2003 - stands beside a Shinkansen test car and a C62 steam locomotive. It sits right in front of Kinjo-Futo Station, about a 24-minute Aonami Line ride from Nagoya Station.

RulesPopular simulators (N700 Shinkansen, crew simulator, etc.) are assigned by lottery on busy days at set times - arrive right at opening if you want a spot. Purchases are limited to one per person/group.
