Sanrio Puroland is a fully indoor theme park in Tama, Tokyo, dedicated to Sanrio characters such as Hello Kitty, My Melody, Cinnamoroll and Kuromi, with rides, live shows, parades, shops and themed restaurants. Opened in 1990, it draws roughly 1.5 million visitors a year and, being indoors, can be enjoyed in any weather or season. It is about a 5-minute walk from Tama-Center Station, roughly 30 minutes by train from Shinjuku.
