Overview
Praia dos Pescadores (Fishermen's Beach) is a Blue Flag city beach about 225 metres long, spread out directly in front of Albufeira's Old Town and counted among the Algarve's signature central beaches. Once a working fishing beach, its boats have moved to the marina to the west, leaving golden sand framed by whitewashed clifftop houses and a lively tourist scene. A restaurant-lined square (Praça dos Pescadores) sits right behind it, so daytime swimming, evening open-air concerts and nightlife all cluster in one spot.
