🇨🇳 Ping An Finance Centre Free Sky Observation Deck

平安金融中心云际观光层 · 선전

Location

Overview

Ping An Finance Centre is a 599 m supertall tower completed in 2017, the landmark of Shenzhen's Futian CBD and the second-tallest building in mainland China. Its Free Sky observation deck (云际观光层) opened in March 2018 on the 116th floor at roughly 547.6 m, and is known for one of the world's highest glass-floored suspended viewing platforms and a 10 m/s elevator that reaches the top in about 55 seconds. As of 2026 it operates year-round, though it closes for occasional special events such as the tower's vertical marathon, so check the date before you go. Treat it less as a generic night-view stop and more as the single best vantage point for reading how Shenzhen grew from a border town into a megacity in roughly four decades.
