Osprey Reef is a remote coral atoll in the Coral Sea roughly 350 kilometers northeast of Cairns, accessible only by liveaboard. Its North Horn dive site is widely known for shark-viewing dives that bring divers close to grey reef sharks, silvertip sharks, and other species. Protected as part of the Coral Sea Marine Park, the reef's waters remain pristine, and the site is defined by a sheer wall that plunges more than 1,000 meters.
