Nurimaru APEC House is a landmark conference hall on Dongbaek Island in Haeundae, Busan, built as the venue for the 2005 APEC Summit. Its name combines the Korean words 'nuri' (world) and 'maru' (summit), meaning a house where world leaders gather; since the summit it has been open to the public free of charge. The three-story building is a modern reinterpretation of a traditional Korean pavilion, with terraces offering sweeping views of Gwangan Bridge and the sea.

Practical info
Reach it on foot from Exit 1 of Dongbaek Station (Busan Metro Line 2), then follow the trail from the island entrance. Public parking is available at Dongbaek Park but fills up on weekends and in peak season. It pairs well with Haeundae Beach as a half-day visit. Confirm fees, hours, and closed days before you go.
