Location

Overview

Nakanoshima is a slender island roughly 3 km long, sitting between the Dojima and Tosabori rivers in Osaka's Kita ward and often called the city's waterside cultural oasis. Nicknamed 'Osaka's museum island,' it packs elegant early-modern Western-style architecture, art museums, riverside promenades and a celebrated rose garden into one relaxed strip.
