Practical info
Reach it via Ercolano station (Circumvesuviana line) using the Vesuvio Express shuttle, or via an EAV bus from Pompeii. The shuttle or bus brings you to a car park around 1,000 m, from where you walk up to the crater with a guide for the final stretch. Verify booking, prices and timetables right before your visit.
