Mount Rigi (Rigi Kulm, 1,797 m) rises between Lake Lucerne and Lake Zug in Central Switzerland and is affectionately known as the 'Queen of the Mountains.' SeasonThe summit is cool and windy even in summer and snowy or icy in winter. Bring a warm layer in midsummer, and proper cold-weather clothing plus non-slip shoes in winter.
