🇫🇷 Moulin Rouge

Moulin Rouge · 파리

Location

Overview

The Moulin Rouge is the world's most famous cabaret, opened in 1889 at the foot of Montmartre in the Pigalle district of Paris, celebrated as the birthplace of the modern French cancan and crowned by its iconic red windmill. Immortalized in Toulouse-Lautrec's Belle Epoque posters, it still stages its lavish revue 'Féerie' (running since 1999) twice every night. After the rooftop windmill's sails collapsed in April 2024, new sails were fitted and the windmill began turning again in July 2025, and as of 2026 the venue is fully operational. Seats and dinner slots sell out months ahead, so book through the official site well before your visit.
