Millennium City Park (Qingming Shanghe Yuan) is a large Song Dynasty living-history theme park in Kaifeng, Henan, China, built as a full-scale recreation of the streetscape in the famous Northern Song painting 'Along the River During the Qingming Festival.' More than 400 Song-style buildings, canals and arched bridges are combined with costumed performers to create an immersive 'step into the painting' experience. Opened in 1998, it is known for over a hundred daytime shows and a large-scale nighttime water spectacle.
