SafetyThe shallow coral garden sits right next to a wall dropping 40-60 m. It looks shallow, but drifting past the wall toward open sea is disorienting, so wear a flotation vest or tow a float, always stay with a buddy or guide, and never snorkel alone. Lifeguards are not always on duty.
SafetyTour boats and traffic move through the Labuhan Lalang channel. A snorkeler at the surface is hard to spot from a boat, so stay within the designated snorkel area and keep a brightly colored surface buoy beside you.
