Macau Tower (Torre de Macau, 澳門旅遊塔) is a 338 m landmark observation tower on the southern tip of the Macau Peninsula. Its indoor and outdoor observation deck at 233 m offers panoramic views over Macau, Taipa, the Pearl River Delta and even Hong Kong on clear days, and it is famous for the world's highest commercial bungy jump (by AJ Hackett), plus the Skywalk and tower climb.

SeasonMay to November (especially Sep-Oct) is typhoon season; when a No. 8 signal is hoisted the deck, revolving restaurant and adventure activities close entirely. The clearest views come in the dry season (Nov-Apr) - check weather and operating notices before you go.
SafetyThe bungy, Skyjump and Skywalk have weight/age limits and restrictions for heart conditions, pregnancy, alcohol and severe fear of heights. Follow the AJ Hackett safety briefing and check the rules on bringing your own cameras or gear in advance.
CautionTaxis to and from the tower are notorious for refusing the meter, demanding flat rates, or taking long detours ('fishing'). Confirm 'meter on' before you ride, walk away if a driver refuses, or use the free casino/MGM shuttle buses that stop at Macau Tower.
CautionAvoid street money changers; use only banks, hotel cashiers or official ATMs. The local currency is the pataca (MOP) but Hong Kong dollars (HKD) are widely accepted - paying in HKD may return change in MOP or a poor rate, so carry some MOP for small purchases.
RulesPrices and hours change by season and day of week (verify the current adult deck fare and opening times). Last admission is 15 minutes before closing, and children under 11 must be accompanied by an adult (18+).
MannersThe deck and revolving restaurant are busy photo spots - take turns on the glass floor and don't monopolize a rotating window table for too long.

Reach it by bus 60 or 32 from the ferry terminal (alight at the Macau Tower/Torre stop), or via free shuttle buses from MGM Macau and MGM Cotai running about every 15 minutes.
