Jewel Changi Airport is a nature-themed complex linked to Terminals 1, 2 and 3 of Singapore's Changi Airport, built around the 40m HSBC Rain Vortex, the world's tallest indoor waterfall, and the Shiseido Forest Valley, an indoor garden with over 2,000 trees. Entry, waterfall viewing and the nightly light-and-music show are all free; the main paid area is Canopy Park on Level 5. Though it sits inside an airport, it's a destination in its own right.

RulesTransit passengers cannot reach Jewel without first clearing arrival immigration, since it sits landside (before immigration). Check your visa/transit eligibility and remaining layover time before planning a visit.
RulesVaping is fully illegal in Singapore — possessing, importing or using e-cigarettes can lead to heavy fines and prosecution, and tourists are screened and are not exempt at Changi customs. Do not bring any vape products.
RulesChewing gum is banned from sale/import, and there are real fines for eating or drinking on the MRT, jaywalking, smoking outside designated areas, and littering. Small infractions are enforced.
CautionChangi taxis are LTA-regulated and metered, so touting and meter-tampering are rare. Note the airport surcharge and late-night surcharge (midnight-6am); Grab shows upfront fares but surges at peak demand, so check the quoted price in the app first.
SeasonWeekends and early-morning/evening peaks get very crowded. A weekday afternoon is calmer, and prime viewing spots (basement and mid-levels) fill up around show times.
