The Igidae Coastal Walk is a roughly 4.7 km (about 2.5-hour one-way) trail along the cliffs of Yongho-dong in Busan's Nam-gu district, running from Dongsaengmal to the Oryukdo ferry pier past rugged sea cliffs, wave-cut rock formations and ancient stacks. Part of Busan National Geopark, it forms Galmaet-gil Course 2 and marks the starting point of the long-distance Haeparang Trail; entry is free and open year-round. Its signature draw is the panorama across the water toward Gwangan Bridge, Marine City and Haeundae.

Good to know
SafetyThe route has many cliffside decks, stairs and uneven rock sections. Stay behind railings, avoid slippery shoreline rocks, and consider walking only a short segment if you have children or weak knees.
RulesThe Oryukdo Skywalk requires shoe covers to protect the glass floor, and sticks, umbrellas, parasols and selfie sticks are banned. Do not run or horse around on the glass.
SeasonThe skywalk and some sections may close for safety during strong wind, heavy rain or snow, so check the weather before visiting. In summer there is little shade, so guard against sun and heat.
SafetyWild boar and other wildlife live in the forested stretches. If you encounter one, do not run or shout; quietly back away behind a tree or rock. Take extra care in the boar-sensitive months (roughly Apr–Jun and Nov–Jan).
SafetyRestrooms and shops are scarce beyond Eoulmadang. Use the toilet before setting out and carry plenty of water.
Practical info
Reach it via Subway Line 2 to Kyungsung Univ.·Pukyong Nat'l Univ. Station, then Nam-gu Village Bus 2 or bus 24/27/131. The trail is free and open year-round, but the skywalk has set hours (roughly summer 09:00–19:00, winter 09:00–18:00) and weather closures — confirm the latest before going. To avoid the steep stair climbs, walk from Oryukdo Skywalk toward Dongsaengmal.
