Location

Overview

The Huinnyeoul Coastal Tunnel is a short, roughly 70-meter walking passage carved through the seaside rock face beneath Busan's Huinnyeoul Culture Village on Yeongdo Island. It opened in December 2018 to spare elderly and less-mobile visitors the steep stairways along the Jeoryeong coast, and it emerges onto a pebble shore with sweeping open-sea views. With its interior lighting and photo spots, it has become one of the village's most photographed landmarks.
