Hong Kong Disneyland is a Disney theme park on Lantau Island, made up of eight themed lands. It centers on the signature Castle of Magical Dreams and features World of Frozen (the world's first Frozen-themed land, opened in 2023) and Mystic Point with its acclaimed Mystic Manor. It is one of the more compact Disney parks worldwide, making it comfortable to explore in a single day.
World of Frozen - the world's first Frozen-themed land, recreating Arendelle village and a lake, with the Frozen Ever After boat ride
Castle of Magical Dreams - the park's icon and the backdrop for nighttime fireworks and light shows
Mystic Manor (Mystic Point) - a highly rated trackless indoor dark ride that is a park signature
Grizzly Gulch - a Wild West-themed runaway mine car (roller coaster)
MTR Disneyland Resort Line - a themed train with Mickey-shaped windows, an attraction in itself
Good to know
SeasonMay to September is the rainy and typhoon season. When a Typhoon Signal No. 8 or higher is issued, some attractions and outdoor shows may close and the park may shut early. Check the weather and park operating status before you go.
SeasonSummers are hot and very humid (feels above 30C with very high humidity). Bring an umbrella, hat, sunscreen, water, and a poncho, and hydrate frequently.
RulesEntry may require an advance date reservation, and prices vary by a date-based tier system. Always verify current fares, hours, and reservation rules on the official website.
CautionBuy tickets only from the official website/app or authorized sellers (such as Klook). Avoid screenshot tickets and unknown resellers, and never accept a screen capture as proof of a valid ticket.
CautionAt the airport, always use the official taxi rank and ignore 'private car' touts. Lantau taxis are blue. Refuse drivers who claim a 'broken meter' or demand a luggage surcharge (there is no official baggage surcharge).
MannersPopular attractions can have long queues, so arrive at opening (or use Early Park Entry) and check wait times in the app. Do not cut lines, and avoid flash photography or filming while on rides.
