The Hassan II Mosque is Morocco's largest mosque, completed in 1993 on a promontory jutting into the Atlantic in Casablanca. RulesInterior access is only via a guided tour; independent free-roaming is not allowed. Buy same-day tickets at the ticket office on the south side, and note that entry is restricted to Muslims during prayer times.
MannersDress modestly — shoulders and knees must be covered, and shorts or sleeveless tops are forbidden. Shoes come off inside (bags are provided), and as an active place of worship, stay quiet during prayers.
