🇨🇭 Harder Kulm

Harder Kulm · 인터라켄

Location

Overview

Harder Kulm, at 1,322 m above Interlaken, is the town's local mountain and its signature viewpoint, marketed as the "Top of Interlaken." A funicular (the Harderbahn) more than a century old climbs to the summit in about 10 minutes, where you look straight out at the Eiger, Mönch and Jungfrau while Lake Thun and Lake Brienz sit far below. In 2026 it again runs as a seasonal attraction from early April to late November, making it an easy half-day or arrival-day outing for travelers who want a big Alpine panorama with minimal effort.
