Glover Garden is an open-air museum on the Minamiyamate hillside in Nagasaki, gathering and preserving the Western-style residences of foreign merchants who lived here from the late Edo through the Meiji era. Practical info
About a 3–8 minute walk from the 'Oura Cathedral' (Oouratenshudoshita) or 'Ishibashi' tram stops. Because it's on a hill, the easiest route uses the Glover Sky Road escalators from the Ishibashi side to enter at the upper Gate 2 and stroll downhill. Allow roughly 1–2 hours.
