🇰🇷 Garosu-gil (Sinsa-dong)

가로수길 (Garosu-gil) · 서울 강남구

Location

Overview

Garosu-gil is an upscale, roughly 650-meter tree-lined street in Sinsa-dong, Gangnam-gu, Seoul, running from Sinsa Station (Line 3) toward Hyeondae High School. Its signature is a row of about 160 ginkgo trees that turn tender green in spring and golden in autumn, framing K-beauty flagship stores, designer boutiques, and stylish cafes. As rents have risen and big brands moved in, many quirky independent shops have relocated to the back alleys known as 'Serosu-gil,' which are now often the more interesting places to wander.
