Overview

Fukuoka Tower is a 234-meter broadcasting tower on the Momochi seafront in Fukuoka City, and the tallest seaside tower in Japan. Built in 1989 for the Asian-Pacific Expo, its triangular "mirror sail" facade is clad in roughly 8,000 mirrors. The observation deck at 123 meters offers 360-degree views of Hakata Bay and the Fukuoka cityscape.
