Èze is a medieval "eagle's nest" village perched about 429 m above the sea between Nice and Monaco, famous for its maze of stone lanes and one of the finest panoramas on the Côte d'Azur. Practical info
From Nice's Vauban hub, bus 82 (Lignes d'Azur) or 602 (Zou network, formerly line 112) runs along the Moyenne Corniche to Èze Village in about 30 minutes. You can also take the coastal train to Èze-sur-Mer station, then shuttle bus 83 up to the village (about 15 minutes) or hike up via the Chemin de Nietzsche. The Général de Gaulle underground car park at the village entrance fills early, so come in the morning, and always reconfirm garden hours, prices and bus line numbers before your visit as they can change.
