Location

Overview

At the northern tip of Glacier National Park in Montana, where it meets Waterton Lakes National Park in Canada, lies the northern terminus of the 4,990 km Continental Divide Trail (CDT), which runs from Mexico to Canada. Hikers cross the international border near the Goat Haunt Ranger Station, and it is here that 'Triple Crown' hikers who have completed the CDT, PCT, and AT take their final steps. The area also has one of the highest densities of grizzly bears in North America.
