Location

Overview

Casa Vicens is Antoni Gaudí's first major building, a summer residence built between 1883 and 1885 in Barcelona's Gràcia district. With its marigold-tiled facade, brickwork and ironwork, it is an early Modernist masterpiece drawing on Oriental and Neo-Mudéjar styles. It was added to the UNESCO World Heritage List in 2005 and, after long serving as a private home, opened to the public as a house museum in November 2017.
