Bridge of the Gods, Pacific Crest Trail · 미국 오리건·워싱턴주 경계 (컬럼비아강 협곡)

Location

Overview

Bridge of the Gods, where the Pacific Crest Trail (PCT) crosses the Columbia River, is the iconic passage point dividing the Oregon and Washington sections of the 4,265 km (2,650-mile) trail. The location is best known as the closing scene of Cheryl Strayed's memoir 'Wild' and its film adaptation, and every summer northbound thru-hikers who started at the Mexican border cross this bridge to finish their Oregon section. The bridge itself is a steel truss structure open to both vehicles and pedestrians, with the toll waived for PCT hikers.
