Banff Upper Hot Springs · 캐나다 앨버타주 로키산맥 밴프국립공원

Location

Overview

A hot spring facility on the flank of Sulphur Mountain in Banff National Park, Alberta, at about 1,585m elevation, the highest hot spring facility in Canada. Railway workers discovered the sulfur spring in the 1880s, and the site was rebuilt in Art Deco style in the 1930s; a single outdoor pool offers views of the surrounding Rocky Mountain peaks. Natural spring water can reach up to 47°C, but the pool itself is regulated to roughly 37-40°C.
