SeasonThe Atomium is closed 19 January - 6 February 2026 for annual maintenance. On winter or rainy days haze can spoil the panorama, so aim for a clear morning.
SafetyMoving between spheres mixes stairs (about 80 steps up, 167 down) with the lift and escalators. Wear comfortable shoes; the panorama lift may cause dizziness for those sensitive to heights. Only the panorama level is wheelchair accessible.
RulesLarge suitcases and oversized luggage are not allowed; lockers cost €1 (refundable). Strollers must be left behind the ticket office, and food and drink are restricted inside. Prices and hours change, so always confirm on the official website before visiting.
