🇰🇷 Anmok Beach Coffee Street (Gangneung Coffee Street)

安木海邊 · 강릉

Location

Overview

Anmok Beach Coffee Street is Korea's flagship coffee strip, where 30-plus ocean-view cafes line the shore beside Anmokhang Port and a roughly 500 m stretch of white-sand beach. What began with coffee vending machines in the 1980s evolved after the first specialty cafes opened around 1998-2000 and first-generation baristas settled here, and today most cafes face the East Sea through floor-to-ceiling windows. Every October the area hosts the Gangneung Coffee Festival, Korea's first coffee festival.

A standard americano runs about 5,000-6,000 won and hand-drip 6,000-10,000 won; confirm prices, hours, and parking policy before your visit.
